Photography courses & workshops

Photocourse 1 in action at Makara Beach
Teaching people how to take better photographs has become a large part of the business at Photospace. There's a separate website with full information about the workshops and part-time photography courses we run from our Courtenay Place studios: www.photocourse.nz

We cater to beginners right through to advanced photographers. Photocourse 1 is our most popular course, so we run it several times during the year.

All our courses & workshops run with small groups of four to eight students at a time, and with one or two professional tutors. This ensures a good group dynamic and that each student gets plenty of attention to their own needs. It also means plenty of hands-on, practical photographic work backed up by sound theory, and feedback on each person's photography.

Courses often fill up before they run, so a deposit is required to ensure that you get a place on the course you want to do. It pays to enquire well ahead of the start date so you don't miss out.
