Becky and Archer were married officially in China and were travelling through Aotearoa New Zealand on their honeymoon. They wanted to have a very kiwi wedding as well so they hired Burnside Presbyterian Church, near Pirinoa in south Wairarapa. My wife Denise and I met the couple there, along with the celebrant and the organist. It was just the six of us! Becky and Archer loved the sheep and cattle in the paddocks neighbouring the 1875 church, so I have included some photos of the animals at the end, as well as additional interior shots of the historic wooden church.
The photo of Archer going through the suitcases - he's looking for the wedding rings!
Denise shot video of the wedding and we gave them the unedited footage to take away with them. (We did this as a freebie as we're not professional videographers and it's not normally part of my photography coverage.)
They were a lovely couple and gave everyone gifts after the wedding ceremony. We wish them all the best for their future together.
(These photos are not Photoshopped, just shown pretty much as they were taken, adjusted for exposure in Adobe Lightroom.)
